Project Profile
- The multiphase, $18 million project consisted of replacing two dormitory buildings with new, state of the art 2-story energy efficient facilities. The recreation center received an addition and major rehabilitation of the existing facility
- The facility houses 330 students, plus staff and support, and service remained functional during the project, thus making schedule and coordination of work with the facility paramount
- The completed facility results in more than 73,000 square feet of new functional space
- In addition to the dormitory construction, the entire facility site infrastructure was upgraded, including underground electric service, hot water supply and return piping and life safety system. BCI trade labor performed the site work portion of the project
