Project Profile
- Large-scale geothermal/ground source heat pump system to provide majority of heating/cooling for 100,000 square foot County facility
- 192 “wells” over a 1.2-acre site
- Each well 150ft. deep with a 2” plastic pipe running to the bottom and back
- Wells are connected into several loops into the building heat pump system
- Fluid circulated as needed to shed or gain heat depending on the season
- This “green” climate control system will save natural resources and pay back investment in less than 10 years
