James Amsler - Vice President

Experience
Jim Amsler joined BCI in 2005 as Vice President with the goal of expanding business and operations focusing on client services, design-build, and management of projects.

Over 32 years, Amsler has gained an extensive knowledge of building practices and delivery systems, having worked in multiple executive roles. He began his career as a draftsman in Albany, New York, and quickly moved on to project coordinator, and Vice President for major design-build firms. During his tenure there, a significant portion of his responsibilities were the design-management and delivery of projects in overseas countries, working closely with General Electric Power Systems and Project Engineering Operations.

Through the years, Jim has developed long term customer relationships and has completed successful projects from Maine to California, including a $185 million multi-year Albany City School District Capital Project. His hard work earned him a "Business of the Year" accolade from the Southern Saratoga Chamber of Commerce.

Under the supervision of Amsler, BCI has steadily expanded both in staff size and workload, a testament to his tenacious work, experience and ingenuity.
