This multiphase $21 million project consisted of replacing two dormitory buildings with new, state of the art 2-story energy efficient facilities, resulting in more than 73,000 square feet of new functional space. The recreation center received an addition and major rehabilitation of the existing structure which houses 330 students, plus staff and support. Service remained functional during the project, thus making scheduling and coordination of work with the campus paramount. In addition to the dormitory construction, the entire site infrastructure was upgraded, including underground electric service, hot water supply and return piping and life safety system. BCI trade labor performed the site work portion of the project.
