BCI completed the construction of 160 wood-framed apartment units on 22 acres. The project began in the Fall and crews were confronted by bitter cold, wet, winter weather. Even with terrible work conditions, the crew never lost a day of work. BCI created the shell construction of the units and handled the interior and exterior finishes. They also set up an indoor shop for framing crews to work on inclement days. BCI panelized interior and exterior walls and other components in the shop, which were then trucked to the site for installation as weather permitted. The entire project was completed in four months – ahead of schedule at a significant savings in labor costs.
